新しい一日( A new day )

「丘の上に巨大な建物がそびえ建っているんだけど…たぶんアレだよな…。」

「どうやってあそこまで行くんだろう？」

「見えているのに行き方が解らないって、まるで悪夢のようだな。」

「いや、むしろ夢だったらどんなに良かったことだろう。」

新しい一日の始まりに、僕が持った最初の感想です。

鉄パイプと板で組んだ仮設の足場を辿って、丘の斜面をしばらく登ります。

見上げると、殆どガラスで覆われた鏡のような建造物が日差しを反射してまばゆく輝いています。

「めまいがしそうだな。」

「フフッ、やりがいありそぅだね♪」そんな声が聞こえたような気がしました。

「えっ！」

数年前、「俺はぜ～ったい行こうなんて思わないよ。」と言ってた僕が、新規プロジェクトの準備室になぜか行くようになりました。
